LVMH dates Chandon China to 2013, after a search that began in 2009, and gives the address as 1 Chandon Road, Huangyangtan Farm, Yongning, Ningxia. The estate director is named as Long Su. Jancis Robinson noted the sparkling project in 2012, while it was still being built up. The house is part of Chandon’s group of estates outside Champagne.
A standing daily visitor centre was not confirmed. LVMH’s Journées Particulières listing for a vineyard tasting at the estate does publish practical details: tours booked in advance, a minimum age of 21, and a drive of about an hour from Yinchuan Hedong airport or Yinchuan railway station. The hours on that page belong to the programmed event, not necessarily to an ordinary week. Read the current listing, or ask the estate, before you rely on it.
