Silver Heights publishes its own site at silverheights.com.cn. The estate has described itself as a family winery begun in 2007. Emma Gao, who trained in Bordeaux, is the winemaker publicly associated with it. Jancis Robinson named Silver Heights among the standouts of her blind tasting of Chinese wines. The World Atlas of Wine’s China chapter features the estate.

A retailer, JC Fine Wines, lists James Suckling at 93 points for Silver Heights Jiayuan Marselan 2023, tasted in October 2025. That figure is the retailer’s citation, not a note copied from JamesSuckling.com. It is included because the number is public, and it should be read that way.

James Suckling’s Ningxia report discusses the region’s rise and names Silver Heights in the wider conversation of estates that replaced an earlier, thinner memory of Chinese wine. No public tour, tasting-room hour or booking form turned up on the estate site. Do not assume a visit. Write to the winery first.
