Jancis Robinson records that Helan Qingxue’s Jia Bei Lan won a Decanter World Wine Awards International Trophy in 2011. James Suckling’s Ningxia report names Zhang Jing as the winemaker, notes that she has been trialling Malbec, and says the estate was promoted to Second Growth in Ningxia’s classification in 2019.
Robinson also listed the estate among the standouts of her blind tasting. A travel report from 2024 describes a hosted visit with Zhang Jing and an underground cellar; that is a journalist’s appointment, not a published opening. No producer website or booking page was confirmed for this directory.
If you want to visit, ask through a Ningxia wine-tourism desk or a guide, and treat a yes as personal rather than as a standing welcome.
