A Decanter China directory entry places Treaty Port at Mulangou Village, Daxindian, Penglai, and lists treatyport.com. The same entry names an estate red of Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc; an estate white of Viognier, Chardonnay and Muscat; The Admiral, a Merlot; The Commissioner, a Marselan; and a sweet Treaty Port Port. The prices in that directory are from around 2015 and are not repeated here.
The Hong Kong Association’s note says Chris Ruffle established the vineyard in 2004 and planted 18 hectares of French vines in 2005 and 2007, on the granite of Qiushan, and that Lafite later planted next door. Jim Boyce has written that the walk from Treaty Port to Long Dai is about ten minutes.
An older AngloINFO listing describes vineyard tours, tastings and a shop. In 2025 Grape Wall of China pointed readers to treatyport.com for wine, whisky and accommodation. Use the site itself for current visiting. The Decanter directory also lists sales@treatyport.com and a Penglai telephone; confirm both, because that page is old.
